Walk In or Book? 12 Gangnam Skin Clinic Listings Compared on Opening Days, Saturday Hours and Holidays
At 19:00 on a Saturday, none of the twelve Gangnam skin clinics on K-Beauty Station is still open. Whether any of them takes a walk-in at all is set clinic by clinic, and none states a policy on its page — 0 of 12, checked 16 September 2026. What is published is the hours, day by day, for all seven days plus public holidays. What is not published anywhere is the last registration time, and that is the thing that actually stops you at the door, so ask in the clinic’s messenger before you travel across town. If you need a specific day, book. A walk-in gets you a consultation at best, not a treatment; the treatment follows only if the doctor agrees and a slot exists.
What “walk-in” means at a Korean clinic
Korean dermatology clinics register patients at a front desk and see them in order of registration and appointment, and a visitor without a booking is registered as a walk-in and waits behind booked patients. Whether it works comes down to the hour, the day, and the clinic’s own answer.
- The last registration time (접수 마감 jeopsu magam) — the hour the desk stops taking new patients, which is earlier than closing time. None of the 137 English store pages on K-Beauty Station publishes one. Checked 16 September 2026, the only time data on a store page is opening and closing hours by day. Treat the closing time as the outer edge, not the time to arrive. Ask the clinic for its cut-off in the same message in which you ask about walk-ins. If the desk says 접수 마감, you are too late regardless of the sign on the door.
- The day. Saturday hours are short. All twelve Gangnam clinics open on Saturday, but they stop between 16:00 (Le Well Clinic) and 19:00 (CELLIN CLINIC GANGNAM, GU Clinic Gangnam Branch). Saturday is also when local patients come. Sunday is closed at six of the twelve. The six that do open run to 17:00–20:30. On public holidays, seven of the twelve close.
- The clinic’s own answer. Every Gangnam clinic page carries the same published booking line instead of a walk-in rule. You contact the clinic through its messenger channel, it coordinates the date you want, and payment is made on-site after the visit, with any deposit flagged in advance. That messenger is WhatsApp on all twelve English pages. Ask there whether the clinic accepts walk-in consultations on the day you want, and go on what it answers.
None of the listings states a walk-in policy, so nobody can tell you in advance which door will open. A weekday afternoon is the realistic window to try; a Saturday afternoon is not.
What the twelve listings publish, and what they leave out
This is the part worth knowing before you plan anything: a booking platform tells you a great deal about when and almost nothing about how you get in. Counted across the twelve Gangnam skin clinic pages, and where noted across all 137 English store pages on the platform, on 16 September 2026.

The walk-in count is a true zero, not a gap in our reading. Searching all 137 English store pages for “walk-in” and “walk in” returns exactly one hit in Gangnam, and it is not a policy. AB Clinic’s self-description says the clinic is dedicated to walking with you on your skin journey. That is a sentence about attitude, not about the front desk.
The reservation wording is identical everywhere. All twelve publish the same paragraph. You contact the clinic through the SNS channel, the date you want is coordinated, and after the reservation is confirmed you visit. Payment is made on site after the visit, and if a deposit is required you are told in advance. Because it is the same on every page, it tells you nothing about how any individual clinic handles an unannounced visitor. That is precisely why the messenger question is unavoidable.

Weekday closing runs from 19:00 to 21:00. The latest is GU Clinic Gangnam Branch on Seocho-daero 77-gil in Seocho-gu, rated 4.9, which runs 10:30–21:00 Monday to Friday. AB Clinic matches 21:00 on Friday only. Four of the twelve list hours for every day of the week including public holidays: CELLIN CLINIC GANGNAM to 20:30, GU Clinic Gangnam Branch to 19:00, SECRET CLINIC to 17:30 and DIORE CLINIC to 17:00. So a Sunday or a holiday is a short list, not an empty one. The midweek trap is not the weekend. CELLIN closes at 17:00 on Wednesday and Thursday, and UH CELL on Thursday, three hours or more earlier than the rest of their week.

Nobody opens before 10:00. Seven of the twelve open at 10:00 on a weekday, four at 10:30, and Reverse clinic Gangnam at 11:00. On Saturday eight open at 10:00, because DIORE CLINIC starts half an hour earlier than it does on a weekday. If you want a clinic visit before a day of sightseeing, this category cannot give you one. The earliest door in Gangnam opens at 10:00. An unannounced arrival at 10:00 is competing with the day’s first booked patients.
Three clinics vary inside the working week, and a walk-in is exactly the kind of visit that gets caught by it. CELLIN CLINIC GANGNAM finishes at 17:00 on Wednesday and Thursday instead of 20:30. UH CELL CLINIC GANGNAM finishes at 17:00 on Thursday instead of 20:00. AB Clinic runs two hours later on Friday than on the rest of its week, to 21:00. None of that is visible from a headline “10:00–20:30”.
Thursday is the thinnest weekday. Two of the three midweek shortenings land on it, and the count of clinics still open at 17:00 falls across the middle of the week: twelve on a Monday or Tuesday, eleven on a Wednesday once CELLIN shuts, ten on a Thursday once UH CELL shuts as well, and back to twelve on a Friday.
How many doors are open at the hour you can actually get there
Closing times are a list of twelve numbers. What you want is the count of clinics still open at the hour you can realistically arrive. Calculated from the published hours above, counting a clinic as open if the hour falls inside its published block.

Read across the 19:00 row and the whole walk-in problem is visible in one line. On a Friday evening eleven of the twelve are still open at 19:00. On a Saturday, none is. The weekend does not shorten the list gradually — it collapses it between 16:00 and 17:00, when eleven clinics become four.
The other lesson is the 20:00 and 20:30 rows. A late weekday arrival narrows to between four and six clinics at 20:00, depending on the day: five on a Monday or Tuesday — CELLIN, DIORE, Dr. Evers, GU Clinic and SECRET — six on a Friday once AB Clinic joins, and four on a Wednesday or Thursday, when CELLIN has already shut at 17:00. At 20:30 it narrows to one clinic on every weekday, GU Clinic Gangnam Branch, plus AB Clinic on Friday. Those two are the only ones of the twelve open past 20:30 on any day of the week. If you are working a full day and cannot leave before 19:30, that is the entire Gangnam list. It is short enough that a message ahead is worth more than the walk.
On a Sunday the one clinic still open at 19:00 is CELLIN CLINIC GANGNAM, whose Sunday runs to 20:30 — the only clinic of the twelve whose Sunday is as long as its best weekday. On a public holiday the two still open at 19:00 are CELLIN CLINIC GANGNAM and GD Clinic.
How much of the week each clinic is open at all
More open hours is not better care, and nothing in this table is a quality measure. It measures how many chances you get. A clinic open 69.5 hours a week over seven days offers roughly a third more arrival windows than one open 51 hours over six days. That matters when you are trying to land an unplanned visit. Hours per week are summed from the published Monday-to-Sunday blocks. The holiday column is excluded because it is not a weekly event.

The spread is 18.5 hours a week, between GU Clinic Gangnam Branch at 69.5 and Reverse clinic Gangnam at 51.0, the widest and narrowest of the twelve in this guide. Six clinics open seven days and six open six. Every one of the six-day clinics is closed on Sunday, and none of the twelve closes for a full weekday.
Ratings sit in a narrow band and tell you nothing about the door. All twelve are between 4.6 and 5.0. The two ends of the opening-hours table, GU Clinic at 4.9 and Reverse at 4.8, are a tenth of a point apart. Review counts are shown on the listing in bands rather than exact figures — 10,000+ at GU Clinic Gangnam Branch, 10+ at Le Well Clinic. A small band mostly means a newer listing. These are user reviews on a booking platform, not a clinical outcome measure.
The priced-treatment column is about planning, not about price. It counts how many treatments the clinic publishes a won price for. That is how much of the decision you can make before you leave the hotel. The range is enormous. Reverse clinic Gangnam publishes 32 priced treatments, DIORE CLINIC 13, CELLIN and SECRET 11 each, and AB Clinic exactly one. A clinic with one published item is not hiding anything, since most Korean clinics quote after the consultation. But a walk-in there is a conversation from a blank page.

Same-day booking is the middle path
A same-day request goes through the same channel as a booking made weeks ahead — the clinic’s messenger, or the store page on K-Beauty Station. It costs you a message rather than a journey. It also lets you say in writing what you want looked at, which is the part a walk-in loses. Whether it is accepted is the clinic’s call. Send it in the morning, name the hour you can be there, and have a second clinic in mind.
What follows about that channel is measured on the pages themselves.
The messenger is WhatsApp, and only WhatsApp. On the English pages, all twelve Gangnam clinics — and all 27 skin clinics the platform lists anywhere in Korea — publish WhatsApp as their channel. No Gangnam clinic page publishes KakaoTalk, an Instagram DM or an email address in English. Install it before you fly. It is not the app most visitors to Korea expect to need.
Several listings publish the same WhatsApp number. Eight of the platform’s 27 skin clinics publish one identical number, AB Clinic and WJ Wonjin among the Gangnam twelve. Other numbers are shared by smaller groups of listings. The pages do not say whose desk answers it. If the reply matters, and a walk-in answer does, ask explicitly whether you are speaking to the clinic or to a booking coordinator, then get the clinic’s own answer on the day and hour you intend to arrive.
The platform’s own guide desk keeps office hours, and they are narrower than the clinics’. The chat widget on all 137 store pages states its response hours as Monday to Friday, 10:00–19:00 Korea time, closed on Korean public holidays. Out-of-hours enquiries are answered in order during business hours. Note what that excludes. The desk is shut on Sunday and on public holidays, exactly the two days when the open-clinic list is shortest and a same-day answer is worth most. On those days, message the clinic directly rather than the guide desk. The response hours are also not printed on the page; they appear as the first message when you open the chat window.
If the door is shut, what is the next one
A walk-in needs a plan B within walking distance, and Gangnam supplies one. Ten of the twelve publish an address on three neighbouring streets. Six are on Gangnam-daero itself, between numbers 415 and 458. Three are on Seocho-daero 77-gil, at numbers 9, 17 and 54, and one is on Seocho-daero 73-gil. The practical version: if the door you chose on Gangnam-daero is full, five of the twelve publish an address on the same avenue within 43 street numbers of it. At two of those addresses, 419 and 458, a second clinic is in the building you are already standing in, and if you are on Seocho-daero 77-gil, there are two more clinics on the same side street. A shared building address is not a shared entrance, though. Confirm the floor on arrival, and note that the second door has its own hours — which is the whole point of the table above.
Myeongdong, if your free day is the one Gangnam closes
Gangnam is where the choice is: 60 of the platform’s 137 English listings are in Gangnam, and 12 of its 27 skin clinics. But if your only free day is a Sunday, or a Saturday evening, the district is not the only answer. Myeongdong lists seven skin clinics, and their weekend behaves differently. Here “Not stated” means the listing prints a hyphen in that row instead of either hours or the word “Closed” — no entry either way, so treat it as unknown rather than open.

Two Myeongdong clinics keep weekday hours on a Saturday: Abijou Clinic Myeongdong to 20:30 and Three Wishes to 21:00. Not one of the Gangnam twelve does, and the latest Saturday close in Gangnam is 19:00. Two Myeongdong clinics also open before 10:00 — Abijou Clinic Myeongdong and Three Wishes at 09:30, with Three Wishes starting at 09:00 on a Thursday. No Gangnam clinic opens that early on any day of the week. Four of the seven open on Sunday, against six of twelve in Gangnam.
What Gangnam keeps is depth: twelve clinics against seven, on streets close enough to walk between. That is what makes a second attempt possible on the same afternoon. The evening hours for every Myeongdong listing sets that district out in full.
What to bring
Your passport, because the name on the booking is checked. A list of medicines you take, the date of any recent procedure, and photos of the problem in daylight if it comes and goes. And a card that works abroad. Payment at these clinics is made on-site after the visit, so bring the card you intend to pay with rather than relying on a transfer. If a deposit is needed, the published terms say the clinic tells you in advance, but the pages do not state amounts or cancellation conditions, so ask for both in the same message.
The hour you can arrive is worth bringing too, stated plainly in the messenger. “Sometime Saturday afternoon” is unanswerable; “I can be there at 15:30 on Saturday” is not. So is a second clinic, chosen from the same street group above, so that a full appointment book costs you ten minutes rather than the afternoon.
What this page does not tell you
- The scope. One booking platform, K-Beauty Station, read on 16 September 2026: 137 English store pages, of which 27 are skin clinics and 12 of those are in Gangnam. Gangnam has many more skin clinics that are not listed there or do not publish in English, so the list here is every skin clinic on that platform, not every skin clinic in Gangnam. A thirteenth clinic listed here in August 2026, KK Seoul Clinic, is no longer on the platform and has been removed.
- The last registration time. Not published by any of the 137 pages, and it is the number that decides a late arrival. Ask the clinic.
- Whether a break closes the desk mid-day. No page publishes a lunch or break closure either, so an unbroken 10:00–20:30 block is what the listing claims, not necessarily what the desk does.
- Whether a walk-in will be accepted. No clinic publishes a policy. Anything you read here about walk-ins is about the conditions, not about permission.
- Which dates the holiday column covers. Korean public holidays include multi-day periods such as Seollal and Chuseok, when much of the city shuts. The listing does not name the dates it means.
- Who is in the room, and in which language. The listings are published and bookable in English. None states who will conduct the consultation.
- Anything about treatments, outcomes or suitability. This page compares published opening hours and published booking terms. It is not a ranking, not a recommendation of any clinic, and not medical advice.
