Myeongdong Beauty: 13 Places Compared by Closing Time and Sunday Opening (2026)
In one line: Myeongdong’s beauty listings split cleanly by category — the medical ones close earliest and take Sundays off, the non-medical ones run the same hours seven days a week.

Most English guides to Myeongdong beauty tell you where to go. Almost none tell you when the door is still open — which is the thing that actually decides whether you get an appointment or spend the evening looking at a closed shutter.
This guide compares thirteen Myeongdong listings on opening hours, category and review count. Hours checked 12 August 2026 and rechecked 4 September 2026.
I’m staying in Myeongdong. Where should I go for a facial?
Short answer: decide medical or non-medical first, then pick by the hour you are free. Myeongdong has thirteen bookable beauty listings — six skin clinics (medical, doctor-led) and one aesthetics salon (non-medical, no doctor), plus hair, photo and retail. Both get called “a facial” in English and they are not substitutes.
To book any of them in English:
| Channel | What it is best for |
|---|---|
| K-Beauty Station | All thirteen Myeongdong listings with opening hours and won prices |
| Klook | Packaged facial treatments, free cancellation on most |
| Creatrip | Editorial picks for the area |
Then use the hours. HI SPA runs to 23:00 seven days a week; the clinics all shut by 21:00 and three of the six close on Sunday. If you are shopping in Myeongdong during the day, the evening is more open than most guides suggest.
The short answer on Myeongdong hours
- Latest close of anything on the list — LINEYOUNG pharmacy, open 09:00–00:00 daily. It sells products rather than treatments, but of the thirteen listings here it is the only door open at midnight.
- Latest close for a treatment — HI SPA, an aesthetics salon, 10:00–23:00 seven days a week.
- Latest close for a skin clinic — ALL CLINIC, to 21:00 on weekdays. Next are Abijou Clinic Myeongdong, Cellin Clinic Myeongdong and Kind Global Clinic, all to 20:30. Abijou also holds 5,041 reviews, the most of any clinic here.
- Open every day including Sunday — JUNO HAIR (both branches), HI SPA, BY SEOUL, MIMILINE and LINEYOUNG. None shortens hours at the weekend. (Ohn Studio opens on Sunday but is closed on Wednesday, so it is not open every day.)
- If your only free day is Sunday — three of the six skin clinics close. Cellin, FULORE and Kind Global stay open until 17:00; Abijou, ALL CLINIC and Reverse Clinic do not open at all.
- ⚠️ If you are going mid-week — Ohn Studio is closed on Wednesday and closes at 14:00 on Tuesday.
The category split matters more than the name
Search in English for a facial in Myeongdong and the results mix two different things.
Skin clinics are medical facilities with a licensed doctor. What they can do is regulated as a medical procedure, and a consultation is part of the treatment.
Aesthetics salons are not medical. They do manual and device-based care that needs no doctor.
Both get called “facial” in English. In Myeongdong the split is six skin clinics against one aesthetics place, which means the search results you get are mostly medical even if that is not what you were picturing. Decide which one you want before comparing anything else — they are not substitutes.

⚠️ Ohn Studio’s weekday hours are not uniform — see the next section.
BY SEOUL’s 06:00–23:59 window is unusually wide and worth confirming directly rather than relying on.
On the review counts: these are the exact figures held in the platform’s listing data. The website displays them rounded into bands — Abijou shows on the page as “4.9 (5,000+)”, not “5,041”.
On the clinics: the ratings and review counts above are user reviews published by a booking platform. They are not medical advertising, not a clinical outcome measure, and not a recommendation of any clinic. No treatment prices appear in this guide. What a clinic will and will not do for you is decided in consultation.

Two things this grid shows that the closing-time table above cannot.
Saturday is where the clinics diverge. Abijou runs to 18:00 on Saturday but ALL CLINIC stops at 16:00 — a two-hour spread inside the same category and the same few streets. The non-medical listings do not shorten Saturday at all.
Five listings are flagged open on holidays but publish no hours rather than giving a
time or marking themselves closed — ? in the grid above: HI SPA, ALL CLINIC, Kind Global
Clinic, FULORE CLINIC and JUNO HAIR Arts Theater. On a public holiday those five are
unknown, not open.
The one that closes on a weekday
Every other listing in Myeongdong opens Monday to Friday. Ohn Studio does not.
Ohn Studio — Myeongdong
Mon 10:30–18:00
Tue 10:30–14:00 ← closes four hours early
Wed CLOSED ← closed all day
Thu 10:30–18:00
Fri 10:30–18:00
Sat 10:30–18:00
Sun 10:30–18:00
This matters because Ohn Studio is the cheapest analysis-only personal color session in Myeongdong and shows up near the top of most price comparisons, including ours. (A Klook listing, Cocorea, is lower at US$58.75 — about 83,000 KRW — but it bundles makeup and hair.) A reader who plans a mid-week afternoon around it, without checking the day, loses the afternoon.
It is the only Myeongdong listing on this platform with a weekday closure. Across the wider Seoul list there are ten more, so the habit of checking the specific day is worth keeping.
What the hours tell you about the area
The medical places close earliest and take Sundays off. Every skin clinic on this list shuts by 21:00, and half of them close on Sunday. That is the normal pattern for Korean clinics and it does not vary much by area.
The non-medical places do not close on Sundays at all. JUNO HAIR, HI SPA, BY SEOUL, MIMILINE and LINEYOUNG run identical hours seven days a week. If your trip is a weekend, the category you can actually book narrows on its own.
Review counts are wildly uneven. Abijou holds 5,041; the next clinic holds 251. That is a twenty-fold gap inside the same category and the same neighbourhood. It reflects how long each has been listed as much as anything else — a place with 46 reviews is newer to the platform, not necessarily worse.
Three questions for a Myeongdong booking
1. Medical or not? A skin clinic and an aesthetics salon are different services under different rules. This decides your shortlist before hours do.
2. What time will you actually be free? ALL CLINIC runs to 21:00, so it is the last medical option of the evening; after that you are choosing among HI SPA, BY SEOUL and the two JUNO HAIR branches.
3. Which day is it? Sunday closes three of the six clinics. Wednesday closes Ohn Studio. Everything else runs all week.
And if you have no Korean phone number, the booking itself is the step to solve first — which channels complete a beauty booking without one covers clinics and salons alike, including the medical-booking rules that apply to the six clinics above.
One source, all seven days — and its limits
Closing times across thirteen Myeongdong listings are comparable only because they come from one source, K-Beauty Station, that publishes all seven days for every listing. Neither of the other channels we checked on 12 August 2026 publishes opening hours — one sells time slots for activities, the other runs editorial guides — so a closing-time list cannot be cross-checked against them. What that source covers, and what it misses.
If Myeongdong does not work, Gangnam is the other list
If you are booking one of the six skin clinics, there is a second list worth having. Opening hours get you in the door; what you can verify once you are inside — device name, whether the single-use consumable is opened in front of you, the shot count on the machine — is a separate question, and one a language barrier makes harder. We set those checks out in the Gangnam clinic guide, and they apply to any clinic in any district.
Myeongdong has thirteen listings; Gangnam has sixty-five, of which thirteen are skin clinics. The trade-off is not quality, it is travel time against choice.
The scheduling behaves differently too. In Myeongdong three of six skin clinics open on Sunday. In Gangnam it is six of thirteen, and four of those also open on public holidays (a fifth, GD Clinic, opens on holidays but closes on Sunday) — a category Myeongdong barely covers. Which Gangnam skin clinics open on the day you are free sets out the seven-day grid for all thirteen.
If you want a non-medical option, Ohn Studio runs the cheapest analysis-only personal color session in Myeongdong at 89,000 KRW — see what a personal color session actually costs, and note the Wednesday closure above before you plan around it.
What we could not confirm about Myeongdong
- The scope of this guide. We checked one booking platform, K-Beauty Station, on 12 August 2026, and rechecked every listing on this page on 4 September 2026; one photo studio listed in August, Color Holic Myeongdong, has since left the platform. Myeongdong has beauty businesses that are not listed there, and Korean-language channels list more. This is not every beauty place in Myeongdong; it is every one on that platform.
- The last bookable appointment. A 23:00 close does not mean a 22:30 start. None of the listings publishes a final slot time; ask when you book.
- Which language the treatment runs in. The listings are published and bookable in English. None states who will be in the room.
- Whether the stated hours hold on Korean public holidays. Five listings — HI SPA, ALL CLINIC, Kind Global Clinic, FULORE CLINIC and JUNO HAIR Arts Theater — are flagged open on holidays but publish no hours rather than marking it open or closed. Treat those as unknown.
- BY SEOUL’s 06:00–23:59 window. It is what the listing says. We did not confirm that an appointment is actually available at either end of it.
- What each clinic will and will not do for a first-time visitor. Medical treatments in Korea require a consultation, and what gets recommended depends on that consultation rather than on a menu.

FAQ
Can I get a beauty treatment in Myeongdong in the evening?
Yes, and later than most guides suggest. Ten of the thirteen listings close after 20:00. BY SEOUL runs to 23:59, HI SPA and MIMILINE Myeongdong to 23:00, LINEYOUNG pharmacy to midnight, both JUNO HAIR branches and ALL CLINIC to 21:00, and three skin clinics — Abijou, Cellin and Kind Global — to 20:30. If you are shopping in Myeongdong during the day you do not have to give up an afternoon to fit something in — but note that the last bookable slot is always earlier than the stated closing time.
Are Myeongdong skin clinics open on Sundays?
It splits almost evenly. Cellin Clinic Myeongdong, FULORE CLINIC and Kind Global Clinic open on Sunday, all closing at 17:00 rather than their weekday times. Abijou Clinic Myeongdong, ALL CLINIC and Reverse Clinic Myeongdong close entirely. The non-medical places do not close on Sunday at all — JUNO HAIR, HI SPA, BY SEOUL and the two shops run the same hours every day of the week. If your only free day is Sunday, that single fact decides more than anything else on the list.
What is the difference between a skin clinic and an aesthetics place in Korea?
A skin clinic is a medical facility with a licensed doctor, and what it can perform is regulated as a medical procedure. An aesthetics salon is not medical — it does manual and device-based care that does not require a doctor. Both get called "facial" in English, which is why one search returns both. In Myeongdong the split is six skin clinics against one aesthetics place, HI SPA. If you want a medical procedure you need the former; if you want an hour of care with no medical component, the latter is the correct category. Which treatment is appropriate for you is decided in consultation, not from a menu.
Which Myeongdong listing has the most reviews?
JUNO HAIR Myeongdong, with 12,625 reviews at 5.0, though it is a hair salon rather than a facial provider. Among skin clinics, Abijou Clinic Myeongdong leads by a wide margin with 5,041 reviews at 4.9 — twenty times the next clinic on the list, Kind Global at 251. Review counts in this category are extremely uneven, so a place with 46 reviews is not necessarily worse; it may simply be newer to the platform. Note also that the website displays these counts rounded into bands rather than as exact numbers.
Is there anywhere in Myeongdong that closes on a weekday?
Yes, and it is easy to miss. Ohn Studio, the photo studio that also runs personal color sessions, is closed all day Wednesday and closes at 14:00 on Tuesday rather than its usual 18:00. Everything else on this list is open all five weekdays. If you are planning a mid-week appointment there, check the day before you travel across the city — a Wednesday visit will find the door shut.
Do I need to book ahead for an evening appointment in Myeongdong?
For evening slots, yes. The places that stay open late are the ones visitors converge on, and the last appointment is usually well before the stated closing time — a 23:00 close does not mean a 22:30 start. The listings are bookable online in English, which is the practical reason to reserve rather than walk in: you confirm the slot and the language before you arrive rather than at the door.
